What is a Peace Commissioner ?

A Peace Commissioner is a voluntary, honorary role appointed by the Minister for Justice in Ireland. The role includes

  • Witnessing signatures on documents.

  • Taking statutory declarations and affirmations.

  • Signing certificates and orders.
